Blue October Philadelphia Concert reviews
Great....but wanted more
The concert was great. My only disappointment was that I wanted more. And, I know, "Always leave them wanting more." They have so many great songs and I'm sure everyone has different favorites, and they played many of mine (and they couldn't play ALL of them because I love just about every one of their songs...and I can say that for only and Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and now Blue October). But the concert felt short. Not sure if they were/are limited in time by the venue (in this case The Pageant in St. Louis, MO), or their typical concerts just run as long as this one did.
Only one encore. Just one more encore with Light It Up, Angels in Everything, and finishing off with the infectious Jumprope (and everyone in the building would have been jumping!! (), and it would have been perfect.
Blue October is one of best bands out there. Period. The lyrics and music and musicianship) are amazing and inspiring, and Justin's voice ranks up there with the best of all timers. I will absolutely see them again, every time they come back to St. Louis. Can't wait!
